Embarking Class
-
Are you searching for a church home? Are you a new member at
Lawndale? Do you want to know more about our core beliefs?
Do you want to know how to “jump on board” and “sail” with us through
life’s journey? If so, please plan to attend our next “Embarking,” where these questions and more will be
answered! The Wednesday night session includes a free dinner, which we will eat
together before we begin. So pick up your dinner in the CLC and
come on over to Room 262 (behind the Chapel) where you will discover how
to “Embark” on life’s greatest journey! Call Jan Thomas, 288-3824,
ext. 301, for the date of the next session and to register your name. If you need child care, please
call by noon on the Friday before your session.
LifePlus Discipleship Ministry

English As a Second Language

Cunningham, is currently meeting on Wednesdays, from 6-7:15 p.m. in Room
318. The class is a combination of Bible study and English class
to our International Swahili families. Anyone interested in
dropping in on one of these classes to interact with the families is
very welcome to do so.

Life
Journey Groups
are the foundational strategy of the church for assimilating people to
carry out the purposes of the church. It is in these groups that
the Bible is taught, life transforming precepts are committed to heart,
and individuals demonstrate and receive Christian love, care, service,
and accountability.
• Grouped according to age or season of
life
• Foundational Bible study tailored for
each age group
• Care groups
• Special class gatherings & family
events
• Mission & ministry opportunities
• A place to be connected!
