Kids' Choirs
We believe that learning to worship the Lord starts at an early age.  So our spring and fall kids' choirs focus not only on singing, but also include drama, dancing, and music theory.  We teach children that they can use all their abilities to praise and worship the Lord, and we have fun doing it!

Middle School Choir (6th-8th grade)
Our spring and fall Middle School Choir is a great place to find new friends and enjoy some great music.

Hearts of Worship (Adult Choir)
Our exciting Hearts of Worship choir sings and leads worship in both of our Sunday morning services and involves adults who are college age and older.  The choir rehearsals each Wednesday are where we learn to worship as we prepare for our services.  Childcare is provided for infants through 6th grade.  You can choose  during which service(s) you would like to sing.  The choir also participates in the annual Lawndale Christmas presentation as well as several other special concert programs throughout the year.

Voices of Experience (Senior Adult Choir)
The Voices of Experience meet Wednesday mornings during fall, winter, & spring from 10:00-11:00 a.m. in the Fellowship Hall downstairs.  See our Senior Adults page for details.

Handbell Choir
Our handbell choir meets Mondays at 9:00 a.m. in room 310 above the church offices.  If you're interested in joining, contact Amanda Matthews 288-3571.

Orchestra
We are always looking for talented and committed instrumentalists to be part of our worship teams.  If you are a member of the church and play an orchestral instrument, guitar, bass, drums, or keyboard, please contact the music office for more details about getting involved!

Few things encourage a spirit of worship more than music.  That's because Spirit-filled worship welcomes God into our midst and creates an atmosphere where He can speak to His people.  So, at Lawndale, we seek to provide congregational worship that is fresh, exciting, and deeply meaningful.  At Lawndale, we also provide many opportunities for people to serve the Lord with their musical talents and gifts.  We are constantly looking for people who feel called to use their musical talents to serve the Lord in both our traditional (9:15 a.m.) and contemporary (10:45 a.m.) worship services.  Come and join us in singing praise to the Lord, and together we will make His praises GLORIOUS!  (Psalm 66:2).

The Lawndale Orchestra
We are looking for more players to join with us.  If you have some experience on your instrument and feel comfortable playing hymns and music arranged for traditional orchestra, we would love to meet you.  We are especially looking for those who could form a permanent rhythm section to play with our orchestra.  That section would include a keyboard player, an acoustic guitar player, drum set, and bass (either acoustic or electric.)  If you have any questions, please contact the music office at music@lawndalebaptist.org
