Single Adult Ministry
With Single Adults making up nearly half of the entire adult U.S. population, it is essential that the Church recognize singles as vitally important members of its congregations. At Lawndale Baptist, we are committed to our single adults and celebrate God's work in their lives to further His Glorious Kingdom! If you are single and looking for a community of faith with whom you can grow in Christ, then we invite you to worship with us as we celebrate God for His greatness and His goodness to us.
DivorceCare is a 13 week support group for those experiencing separation and divorce. Workbooks are available at the class for $10. Our next class will begin on Tuesday, September 14th and continue through Tuesday, December 7th, 2010 from 7:00pm-8:30pm. Call the church office to register for preschool childcare.
We are also offering DC4K (DivorceCare for Kids) for children in grades 1-6.
GriefShare is a special weekly seminar and support group for people grieving the death of a spouse, family member or close friend. The next class will begin on Sunday, September 12th, 2010 at 5:00pm in Room 366. There is a workbook that accompanies the course for $12.
