Originally from the Charlotte area, Pastor Curt has been on staff at Lawndale Baptist for 24 years, serving as college and single adult pastor, discipleship pastor, teaching pastor, and most recently the campus pastor of the Lawndale Drive campus. Pastor Curt obtained his Bachelor of Arts degree in economics and history from UNC-Charlotte, and he obtained his Master of Theological Studies degree and Doctor of Ministry degree from Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary.

 

His passion is teaching God's Word and providing pastoral care and counseling. Pastor Curt's heart for Lawndale is that it would grow in its understanding of God through His Word, that it would continue to experience the blessedness of "community," and that it would desire to share the hope of the gospel with those who have no relationship with Jesus Christ.

Pastor Curt has been married to Tricia for 26 years, and they have three children (Jonathan, 21; Olivia, 18; and Daniel, 16). Pastor Curt enjoys reading history books and biographies, touring historical sites, and hiking the mountains of NC.
