The world is at our doorstep. Almost 120 languages are spoken in Guilford County. The ends of the earth have truly come to us. English as a Second Language is our front door to the world. It is evangelism in action. This ministry brings people of all religions inside the walls of our church, where they see Christ’s love demonstrated by caring teachers, assistants, and others.

Lawndale offers three levels of English classes to meet every fluency need. Classes meet each Sunday evening from 4:30 - 6 pm.

If you are interested in further information, or in assisting with this ministry, contact the church office or see Tom Pless. There is a six-language brochure available in the lobby. Take copies to give to friends, acquaintances, and people you know or meet through work. Because the world is at our doorstep.
