A Greensboro native, Nathan attended Northwest. He obtained a Bachelor's in Bluegrass Music Studies from East Tennessee State University in Johnson City. Nathan's desire in life is to serve people and build relationships with the goal of sharing Christ and making disciples. Nathan served for five summers in various roles, but mostly as a camp counselor, at Merriwood Christian Camp. He obtained a Master of Arts in Ministry at Carolina University (formerly, Piedmont International University) in Winston-Salem. Nathan has been attending Lawndale since 2017.

Nathan has been married to his wife, Liz, since 2022. They enjoy playing music, being outdoors, and spending quality time with family and friends.
